WHAT NOBODY MENTIONS

The most high-profile media guests and the most prolific public speakers are coached privately by pros. Refine your message and practice one-on-one with a veteran TV producer and professional speaker who has worked alongside the industry’s biggest powerhouses for more than two decades, producing, booking, reporting, and ultimately – sitting in the hot seat answering questions herself.

About

Veteran broadcast producer Debbie Bornstein Holinstat is the founder and president of ClearSpeak Media. Throughout her career she has worked alongside some of the biggest names in broadcast news, including Lester Holt of NBC Nightly News, CNN’s Ashleigh Banfield and the Today Show’s Natalie Morales.

In 2017, Debbie’s debut non-fiction manuscript Survivors Club skyrocketed onto the New York Times bestseller list and launched her into the world of public speaking. She began traveling the country alongside her co-author and father as a professional presenter with the Macmillan Speakers Bureau. Debbie suddenly found herself on the other side of the camera giving interviews on Holocaust remembrance, empathy and tolerance to network news stations around the world.

Throughout her career she has produced content from the field, in the newsroom, and from the control room. She has pitched thousands of stories for live shows and given interviews on-air as an author. Debbie now brings that unique 360-degree view— along with an empathy and understanding of the anxiety those hot lights can bring— to clients across the spectrum. Her results-oriented coaching helps ready even the most camera-shy clients for broadcast news and podcast appearances.

Testimonials

“Debbie not only provided the physicians…with basic information on proper messaging, effective use of backgrounds and lighting, and expectations when interacting with reporters and producers, but she also gave several the much-needed confidence they need to more readily agree to do interviews (which has always been one of my biggest challenges at the hospital).  She got her points across in an entertaining and engaging manner and left each participant feeling that the time was well spent.”
